But have you heard of a sailor who travelled the world?
Her name was Scarlet Enroe.

She began at Dublin, and then down to Cork,
Then she sailed the Atlantic to the state of New York,
Where she drank and gambled her money away,
So she left the very next day.

Scarlet Enroe, Scarlet Enroe,
What a fun, strong, young woman was she.

She sailed down to Cuba, and then to Brazil,
Then across to Gabon, and Libreville,
Where she lay on the beaches and bathed in the sea,
Before heading back to the quay.

Then she travelled to Cape Town, and up to Oman,
Then across the Gulf onto Pakistan,
Where she watched the birds at Hungol River,
But the sea, she did still prefer.

She sailed to China, and Malaysia,
Then she travelled south, to Australia,
Where she surfed and dived to the Barrier Reef,
But was away in the night like a thief.

He said if she stayed they could build a family,
But she said she preferred the sea.
